Shares of Waaree Energies rose by 1.38 per cent to ₹2,940 on the BSE at 2.46 p.m today after the company announced a substantial order for supplying up to 1 GW of solar modules.
The company said the order, secured from a prominent Indian renewable energy company, underscores the growing demand for solar energy solutions in India.
The execution of this order will span two years, starting in the FY25 fiscal year and continuing into 2025-26.
In recent market performance, Waaree Energies’ stock reached a 52-week high of ₹3,740.75 on November 6, and a 52-week low of ₹2,294.55 on October 28.
The stock closed at ₹2,971.45 up 2.44 per cent on the BSE.
