WhatsApp will soon launch its multi-device feature, and its non-beta users will receive the update. WABetainfo stated that this will allow its non-Beta users to join the multi-device Beta program for future updates. With this new feature, users can connect four devices to the same account as the main device and continue to use WhatsApp. However, the app tracker reports that none of these devices can become another phone.
New update 2.21.19.9, WABetainfo is recommended to provide stable users of Android and iOS with the possibility to join the multi-device function of the messaging application. The user will be prompted to update their device to a multi-device version for future updates.
The announcement of this feature was released in June. The multi-device feature allows users to use WhatsApp on other non-phone devices without connecting to the main device. In addition, the main phone cannot be connected to the Internet or turned off, and users can use WhatsApp through their connected devices. This feature is more beneficial if the main device does not have a stable Internet, but other devices (such as tags or laptops) operate via WiFi.
