Healthcare operations solutions provider Sagility announced today the acquisition of BroadPath Healthcare Solutions, a Tucson-based company specializing in healthcare services with over 1,600 employees across the US and Philippines. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The shares of Sagility India Limited were trading at ₹47.73 up by ₹2.27 or 4.99 per cent on the NSE hitting its upper band.
The acquisition adds more than 30 new clients to Sagility’s portfolio and strengthens its position among the top ten largest health plans in the United States. BroadPath’s expertise includes member engagement, claims administration, provider enrollment, and member acquisition services.
BroadPath, known for its early adoption of a work-from-home model, brings its proprietary Bhive platform to Sagility. The platform is designed to enhance employee engagement and optimize operations in remote work environments.
Ramesh Gopalan, Managing Director and Group CEO of Sagility, emphasized that BroadPath’s existing leadership team will remain in place to ensure continuity of client relationships. Don Hubman, CEO of BroadPath Healthcare Solutions, noted that their clients will now have access to Sagility’s advanced capabilities in automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence.
Sagility currently employs over 38,000 professionals across five global service delivery centers in the US, India, the Philippines, Jamaica, and Colombia. The company serves five of the top ten healthcare payers in the United States.
