Shares of Vedanta Limited declined 1.53 per cent to 505.55 on the BSE at 10.53 am today.
The company on December 16 approved the interim dividend of ₹8.5 per equity share on face value of ₹1 per equity share for the Financial Year 2024-25 amounting to ₹3,324 crores.
According to its exchange filing, the record date this dividend has been set for December 24, 2024, and it said that the interim dividend would be duly paid within the stipulated timelines as prescribed under law.
Following that, the stock reached a 52-week high of ₹527.00 on December 16 and it hit a 52-week low of ₹249.30 on December 21 2023.
